THE ROLE

Consulting and Digital are strong growth areas and we expanding our team of consulting specialists to assume lead roles within the company Cognizant Business Consulting (CBC) is a strategically important division which focuses on delivering high quality consulting solutions to clients globally. The CBC organization is industry lead, and is leveraging the strength of global industry verticals. The Cognizant Life Science vertical employs 13.000+ professionals, and we work with the vast majority of the top Pharma, Biotech and Med Devices companies across the globe.

As part of the growth of Cognizant in Nordics, we are building our Life Science Consulting practice with the primary objective of delivering consulting led solutions clients across the Life Science sector, while working with other areas of Cognizant in support of the Nordics business. To start this, we are looking for a strong consulting leader in the field.

THE CANDIDATE

The Lead Life Science Consultant candidate will have a successful career with a top consulting firm or vendor with a passion for client service and a track record of delivering Life Science Consulting solutions to clients across the sector.

Specifically, a candidate will have:

  • A university degree in a relevant field
  • At least 10 years of consulting experience, primarily in a consulting firm or vendor firm
  • Significant experience in selling and delivering management consulting services to clients at CXO levels within organizations in the Nordics
  • Experience from working in a multi-cultural context is a plus
  • Experience across range of sectors and types of client transformation programs
  • Ability to work in a large, global and highly matrix environment
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in an unstructured, entrepreneurial environment, whilst at the same time playing a full part in the CBC practice and working closely with colleagues to identify the best ways of securing consulting opportunities for Cognizant
  • Very strong interpersonal and communication skills to form good relationships both internally and externally
  • Evidence of a desire and ambition to play a major part in the development of Cognizant’s Business Consulting business.
